SEPARATED AND MISSING MIGRANTS: MEMBER STATES APROACHES TO PREVENT FAMILY SEPARATION AND SEARCH MECHANISMS FOR MISSING MIGRANTS
This inform provides a comparative overview of the policy measures and practical approaches taken by Member States to prevent and manage the risks of third-country nationals going missing and their separation from family members, with a focus on three different scenarios: 1) when they first come into contact with authorities; 2) during transfers to one facility to another; and 3) during their stay in a Member State.
EU AND OECD MEMBERS STATES RESPONSES TO MANAGING RESIDENCE PERMITS AND MIGRANT UNEMPLOYEMENT DURING THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC
This Inform reports on measures implemented due to the COVID-19 crisis in the fields of residence permits and unemployment in EU and OECD countries, between March and June 2020. Irregularly staying migrants were not included in the scope of this Inform, except for the issue of access to COVID-19 related emergency healthcare services.
THE IMPACT OF COVID-19 IN THE MIGRATION AREA IN EU AND OCDE COUNTRIES
Between July 2020 and January 2021, the EMN, in collaboration with other organizations developed a series of informs on the impact of COVID-19 on migration. This inform provides an update of these impacts as of December 2020, closes earlier information gaps, summarizes and analyses the key findings across the earlier informs and identifies the main challenges and learning points in responding to the pandemic at a national level.
Protection of children in migration in the UE and Norway
This EMN Report maps the progress made by Member States in implementing the recommended actions laid down in the 2017 Communication on the protection of children in migration.The 2017 Communication sets out actions to reinforce the protection of all third-country national migrant children at all stages of migration to and within the EU, at EU and national levels.
